Rosh Hashanah Greeting

by Uncle Abe on September 28, 2011

Rosh Hashanah marks the beginning of the Jewish calendar year. This is also the day that Jews all over the world begin a time of serious introspection, looking back at the past year, grateful for what has been achieved and planning the changes to make, setting the goal for the New Year.

At this moment we would like to express our gratitude, and thank the Jewish community in Brooklyn for their support, in electing Republican Bob Turner as our Representative in Congress.

Their trust and overwhelming support was instrumental in this stunning victory, and looking ahead, we want to reinforce the warm relationship between the Jewish community and the Brooklyn Republican Party to ensure future victories.

In the next year, Israel will face many challenges, in meeting those challenges, Americans all across this Country will stand by Israel’s side.

This past election proved that when we come together as one voice, we can send the right message to Washington and ultimately to the entire world, and together we can meet the greatest challenges of all: putting our nation back on track, and to ensure that our values and traditions are passed on to future generations.

On behalf of the Brooklyn Republican Party, we wish you, your family and friends and Jews around the world, a Happy New Year. May you be inscribed in the Book of Life – Shana Tova.
