Meet fellow Republicans under 30

by Uncle Abe on February 25, 2010

Republican Twentysomethings are being invited to an evening of casual food, drink and conversation on Thursday, March 4th in Park Slope.

The free event will run from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

Lesli Rice, Director of Youth Activities for the Brooklyn Republican Party, said the event is “just one of our ongoing activities to reach out to different kinds of Republican voters, and get them involved.”

She added, “March 4th is a free event. We want our younger GOP neighbors to join us, and bring a friend.”

County Chairman Craig Eaton added, “Young people who share our Republican philosophy are invited to come down and meet their fellow GOP neighbors, but the emphasis on March 4th is social, not strictly political.”

The event will be held at Korzo, located at 667 Fifth Avenue at 20th Street, in Southern Park Slope. The R train station at Prospect Avenue is less than 4 blocks away.
